For the tutorial with the rubber band I worked with color mode to convert the color mode, adjust color in the image, and add a shaded background. For the violin I worked with adjusting the different fonts, size, and color.
Today I am going to go outside and shoot portraits with a group of two including Jackie and myself. We will be taking portraits in the shade as well as in the direct sunlight and then we will proceed to take photographs of each other. While taking these photographs I will be adjusting the settings to capture better photographs each time so that I will eventually come back to the classroom and edit the photograph. This session will be practice to try and capture good portraits so that the next session will be better. I will be outside in the school for 35 minutes taking photographs.
3/4 Proposal: I have already gone outside and shot some portrait photographs with my partner and I will be going outside to take more shots and experiment with different settings to take the perfect photograph. last time I mostly shot in the sunlight so today I will be focusing on capturing photographs in the shadows. i will be out in the campus trying to capture these photographs and will be outside for 20 minutes. The photograph contains asymmetrical balance because the left sign contains a person holding a picture frame boats and behind the person their are bushes while on the right its only ocean with boats. the photograph also contain emphasis, by Erik cutting off the head of the individual the viewer isn't distracted by them instead they focus on what is occurring with the frame of the boats. the boats and the water escaping the photo frame create a realistic sense of movement as you can clearly see and image water actually coming out of the painting and dropping and merging with the lake behind it. Erik must have had to create a frame that would be able to dispose of the water because it looks really realistic as well as creating the boats.
The first photograph in every set is the original copy that was taken while the second one is the edited one. While outside I photographed various item with different settings like adjusting the shutter speed and aperture depending on what the image result was. A few of my first photographs were blurry or didn't focus on the object i wanted it to for example the first photograph I was trying to focus on the trash can behind it but in the end i ended up focusing on the orange pole. Overall I think I have improved and I am able to focus on my object. I have also been able to edit the photographs and adjust some setting so that the end result is better.
What: I would like to go outside and take depth of field photographs for my project folder.
Where: I would be taking photographs all over campus. How Long: I would be taking photographs for thirty minutes. Why/What learned: I have to go and take photographs for the depth of field project so that i'll be able to come back to the classroom and edit the photographs i've taken. While I was outside photographing I played around with the settings so i would have various photographs of the same object with different settings and different angles. The pictures in the bottom are photographs I took with different settings. 2/4 Proposal: I plan to go out and do the same as I did yesterday and I plan to focus taking photographs of nature around campus. |
